Fifth Women's International Film and Arts Festival (WIFF) at Miami (USA) from March 26 to April three will celebrate India with exhibition of India-focused films on March 29, according to reports.

It will include "The Shadow Effect" (documentary feature, Scott Cervine), "Can She Be Saved" (documentary short, Yasmin Shiraz), "Goddess Menstrual Show", "Astronaut Pam: Countdown to Commander", "Sindoor" (narrative short, Mangla Bansal), and "Land Gold Women" (narrative feature, Avantika Hari)

WIFF is a unique annual cultural event featuring films, visual and performance arts and other artistic expressions by women to celebrate women and to help them realize their dreams, visions, and voices. The events reportedly bring together women from all over the world.

Founded by Yvonne McCormack-Lyons, WIFF 2010 will include nine days of film viewings in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties of Florida (USA) as well as workshops, panel discussions, and symposia conducted by industry professionals. With about 400 films received from more than 30 countries this year, this Festival will screen 68 films about women. Various actors from around the world are also expected to attend. (ANI)
