Woman Arraigned On Murder Charges In DUI Crash

(LOUISVILLE) -- A 21-year-old woman accused of killing her two passengers in a DUI accident was formally charged Monday.

Rebecca Johnson was arraigned Monday afternoon for two counts of murder and DUI. Her lawyer entered a not guilty plea on her behalf.

Police say she caused an accident on July 6 that killed her passengers, Benjamin McIntosh and Justin Cantrell, at the intersection of LaGrange Road and Chamberlain Lane.

Both victims died at the scene.

Johnson was transported to a hospital and is still recovering from her injuries.
