Red Cross to spend more
NEW YORK (JTA) — The Red Cross increased the amount in its 2006 budget for Israel and the Palestinian territories by more than $8 million.
That will bring the total that the international relief agency spends on these areas to $42 million. The money will go mainly toward improving health-care facilities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
